Higher Diploma (HD) graduates can apply for admission to top-up degree programmes offered by VTC in collaboration with overseas universities or degree programmes offered by local or overseas universities. 2. Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) admits eligible Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education graduates or applicants with equivalent qualification to its Bachelor’s Degree programmes; and students with HD or equivalent sub-degree qualifications in a relevant area of study may be admitted into Year 3 of the degree programme. Duration of study for full-time top-up degree programmes offered by THEi is usually two years. Please visit THEi website for details. 3. The duration of Bachelor’s Degree programmes offered by our partner universities in collaboration with the School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) are one year (Full-time) and 18-24 months (Part-time) respectively. Students who have completed Secondary 6 (S6) are eligible for admission to the one-year Diploma of Foundation Studies (DFS) – Design and the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programmes, namely Design and Print Media, Fashion, Interior and Exhibition Design, and Jewellery Design and Technology. Holders of the Diploma of Foundation Studies (DFS) and Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) award, upon successful completion of prescribed modules, are eligible to apply for HD programmes, as well as module exemption based on comparable formal academic achievements, subject to approval. Specific entrance requirements may apply to certain programmes. 6. Upon completion of the Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) programme, students can progress to degree or higher diploma programmes in Hong Kong and abroad, subject to their internal and external academic results. Students shall pay attention to the specific entrance requirements of some degree / higher diploma programmes (if applicable). 7. Students who have completed Secondary 3 (S3) or above are eligible for admission to the three-year Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) – Design and the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programmes, namely Design and Print Media, Fashion, Hairdressing, Image Design, Interior and Exhibition Design, and Jewellery Design and Technology.
