Programme Outlines
FID4022Y Cat Walking Techniques (30 hours)
- Apply generic and professional knowledge and skills in fashion show performances
- Response effectively and understand pacing during show performances
- Develop a widening range of catwalk techniques to embody various personas
- Understanding the art of posing to articulate job briefs in the real world of modelling
FID4023Y Personal Style and Photogenic Skills (30 hours)
- Apply fashion coordination knowledge and skills to create an individualistic personal style
- Interact consciously and effectively with photographers in building an image for different shooting environments and narratives
- Forge marketing knowledge to understand the structure and nature of a campaign
- Understand how to expand personal branding through your social media presence and potential reach
FID4024Y Grooming and Etiquette (30 hours)
- Apply proper etiquette and grooming techniques to real-life workplace situations
- Utilize fashion and hair styling skills and techniques to enrich image versatility
- Plan and prepare for various formats of castings and job opportunities within the fashion and entertainment industry

Michael CHEUNG
Michael has worked in the fashion industry for over 16 years, specialising in editorial writing, public relations, creative production and talent management. He founded BAKE Talent Management in 2022 to commit to nurturing the new generation of Asian faces internationally. Since its conception, his company has achieved steady success and has participated in multi-national campaigns for Sony, Nike Jordan, The North Face, and Puma. It has graced the pages of titles such as Vogue Hong Kong, Vogue Thailand, Manifesto, City Magazine and numerous more. Beyond modelling, Michael envisions BAKE Talent Management to be a hybrid agency with casting, production, and brand management services to shape a holistic brand message and visuals for any brand.

Entry Requirements
Basic Qualification
(a) | - | Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent; OR |
- | Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent; OR | |
- | Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board; OR | |
- | Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; OR | |
- | Other relevant verifiable prior learning and/or work experience that is/are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written. | |
(b) | Applicants are required to have at least 1 year of relevant working experience. | |
(c) | Basic knowledge of related area is preferred. | |
(d) | An interview may also be required on a need basis. |
Mature Applicants
Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least two years’ relevant working experience, can be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.
