Daniel Jeffreys will host top interdisciplinary artist Kingsley Ng to explore the way that art inspires designers and design inspires artists, and whether art/design can add critical insights to designers/artists and the design/artistic process.
Daniel Jeffreys is the CEO and Founder of deluxewords, which publishes luxury magazines, produces exquisite books and films and provides consultancy services to world-class brands including Louis Vuitton, Chateau Cheval Blanc, Loro Piana and Chic Outlet Shopping. He is a Visiting Professor at the Hong Kong Design Instiute and editor-in-chief of the HKDI’s SIGNED magazine.
Kingsley Ng is an inter-disciplinary artist with a focus on conceptual, site-specific and community-engaging projects including his famous Hong Work Record: Light from +22 16’ 14” +114 08’ 48”. He has academic qualifications in Sustainable Design from the University of Edinburgh, Experience Design from Central Saint Martin and New Media arts from Ryerson University in Canada. Ng’s works have been featured in international exhibitions in China, Japan, Austria and France.
