Reflecting on my life-changing experience in Hong Kong, I realise how much I’ve grown. Within the institute itself, I had a fairly easy time integrating thanks to my ability to speak Mandarin. Some of my classmates were eager to talk to me from the get-go, and even the ones that were shy at first conversed with me within my exchange period. I believe I was able to make connections with both classmates and teachers.

The campus itself is well-equipped and surrounded by shops and malls, so you never feel too far from any resource you may need. My classes were specialized in printing and paper materials, which I didn’t know much about before attending. The teachers were mostly supportive of helping students personally with their work while giving everyone the freedom to create projects with their own production style.

Overall, I had an amazing time in Hong Kong and made many lifelong friends with fellow students, teachers, staff, and other Hong Kongers. I would highly recommend such an experience to anyone who gets this opportunity.
