Within the selected districts of HK, participants will search and explore the urban signs which have the speculative meanings and then the semiotical analysis will be carried out. Also, they will create artworks with personal statements towards social phenomena.

Ms Christiane Lange contributed her urban research and design work to the Venice Biennale in 2008 which was about culture, human behaviour and semiotics of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Schwyz. Since 2008, she has been working together with Jorg Stollmann and Rainer Hehl in 'urbaninform' that features sustainable urban development projects, negotiate top-down planning and civil society commitment.
