Industrial Attachment

As part of HKDI Higher Diploma Programme curriculum, Student Industrial Attachment Programme aims to provide work-based experience in a real-life organisational context for students to develop specific and generic skills, valuable to their professional development, while contributing to the organisation. The cumulative total duration of the attachment should be no less than 90 hours, which can be taken place during term-time or summer semester (July-August).

HKDI Star Graduate Scheme

HKDI has launched our “Star Graduate” Scheme to strengthen collaboration with the creative industries while further developing our top graduates, with a view to contributing to the blossoming of the industries as well as the career for our emerging designers. Industry partners are cordially invited to become a Patron of HKDI Star Graduate Scheme to help expand the talent pool of your organisation, by handpicking cream-of-the-crop HKDI graduates who are outstanding in areas of academic achievements, design-related competitions, international exchange study etc. Patrons are welcome to offer opportunities for the Star Graduates including but not limited to Mentorship, Job placement / internship, Incubation and/or Networking opportunities.
