HKDI Students Participated in the Store Design for Local Fashion Brand

Seventy HKDI students of Product and Interior Design participated in the “Your Wish List from G2000” project to design the future stores for this famous local fashion brand. Students were required to come up with a new theme for the future design of G2000 boutiques based on the actual size of the store, as well as to design the display shelves, decorations and the overall atmosphere of the shop. Third year student Chan Chun Kit’s winning design incorporates the concepts of a bookstore and the nature into the fashion boutique. His concepts will have the opportunity to be adopted into the upcoming store design for G2000. Students who participated in this project said that it was a very valuable opportunity for them to learn how to implement their design concepts into commercial settings. The project also helped them to obtain practical knowledge and experience for their future career.
