HKDI student shines in red dot design award 2011

HKDI student shines again in red dot design award this year. Tse Yan Lamb, a fresh graduate from Product Design and Technology was honoured to receive the Seal of Distinction for her design, Pond and Pine which is a sculptural wash basin with projected moving images to give additional dimensions to the cleansing experience, and with a shallow depth to encourage water conservation.

red dot design award is generally regarded as the Oscar of product design, and the Seal of Distinction is a highly prestigious prize, awarded to fully developed product designs on par with all professional submissions. Lamb will attend the Award Presentation Ceremony in Singapore in November. With this recognition, Lamb is more confident in the field and is devoted to product design as her career path.
