"A Special Summer Art Workshop"
To unleash the creative talents of special education needs (SEN) students and to encourage their integration into the community, HKDI collaborated with Louis Program Training Center to hold "A Special Summer Art Workshop" in July 2013, in which both SEN and general students learnt to create art together with the help of social workers and artists Lumli and Lumlong. Through the art creation activities, the participants learnt to explore and appreciate others' potential, to get along and communicate with each other. Their social skills and self-confidence were fostered through the interactive games.
From 28 to 30 August 2013, an exhibition will be held at A001 Foyer of HKDI showcasing the students' artworks of "A Special Summer Art Workshop", and a sharing session will be held on 30 August in Room 623A, Block C at HKDI. Both events will be open to the public. Join us to appreciate creative power from a new perspective!
