The Food Market Innovation, sponsored by The Link, showcases the innovative ideas on Food Market designs by HKDI students from Product & Interior Design Department, based on the real sites in Hong Kong public housing estates at Oi Man, Shek Lei and Shek Wai Kok. The students designed new market solutions for modern market places with a variety of stores, creatively combining tradition with modern lifestyles, in order to provide consumers with an enjoyable shopping experience. A series of 1:25 physical models are displayed in the exhibition for the visitors to experience a new era of Hong Kong food market.
