Speaker: Mr Maxime Szyf

Maxime Szyf is Director of MAXIMALdesign, a Belgian design office for product, identity and interior development, which was founded in 1998. MAXIMALdesign developed a unique vision and approach, whereby the studio matches strategic with creative services, in order to translate the strategic challenges and brand DNA with the design of product, space and identity to achieve ROI (return-on-innovation) and to create memorable user experiences.

Having graduated in Antwerp as product designer, Maxime Szyf started his career at Samsonite, the multinational world leader in travel accessories and luggage. Later, he joined Verhaert Design and Development, where he was responsible for design and visual communication. In 1998 he founded MAXIMALdesign, as independent designer with Samsonite for launching customer, but growing to a local and international client portfolio. His strategic approach has been further professionalised through the cooperation with Gert Verschueren (until 2010).

Szyf is also speaker at national and international events and a lecturer at the Department of Product Development in Antwerp and Genk. And he is also a passionate snowboarder, motorbike enthusiast and father…
