Speaker: Ms Cheung Sin Yee, the publishing veteran, writer, traveler
Ms Cheung Sin Yee, the publishing veteran, writer, traveler, has presided over the publication plan of《敦煌石窟全集》and《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集》, written travel works including《西行找中國》, and co-authored《文明的足音》with Prof. Lee Chek Fan.
The seminar is an introduction of the appreciation of Dunhuang Arts via the murals and a prelude for the HKDI cultural study trip to Dunhuang. With an introduction of Dunhuang’s cultural history, the main focus of the seminar is to appreciate the role of ancient art in inspiring students’ exploration on contemporary design applications.
