Speaker: Katarina Brieditis & Katarina Evans, Swedish Textile Artists

Ms. BRIEDITIS and Ms. EVANS are famous of re-inventing the idea of “rug” with creative handicraft techniques in new contexts, as well as utilising waste and excess from the textile industry. Students will be inspired on using new and eco-friendly ways to source re-usable materials, exploring idea generation techniques start with an intuitive insight, and dealing with creative design challenges related to social issues, such as sustainable production and waste reduction, etc.
