Beyond The Sound | Abstraction and Representation of Sound

Speaker: Mr Rainier Lericolais, Multi-disciplinary artist and musician

Mr Rainier Lericolais is a multi-disciplinary artist and musician. He works in a wide range of media, including painting, film/video, installation and records with a discography comprised more than a hundred recordings. He has exhibited extensively world-wide and has worked in many private and public collections, including Centre Pompidou in Paris, FRAC Limousin Mac val, Frac Aquitaine, etc. Currently, he is represented by the Frank Elbaz Gallery in Paris.

In the artist talk, Mr. Lericolais will share his insights and experience in creative intervention, especially in the using of unorthodox materials and technology incorporating with traditional art making process.

Lecture will be conducted in French with live interpreter in Cantonese by Margaret Lee.
