SMPTE-HK Section 21st Anniversary Seminar: Digital Entertainment on Internet
Dedicated to encouraging technology information exchange and promoting industrial development / new technology application, the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers Hong Kong Section (SMPTE-HK) organizes annual event and seminar in its chapter city every year. On the 6th November 2015, SMPTE-HK, in collaboration with Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), will hold a seminar of title “Digital Entertainment on Internet”, along with its 21st anniversary-associated events and workshops. In the seminar, invited local and overseas specialists from the broadcasting industry will share with the attendants the state-of-the-art knowledge and operation experience.
The seminar comprises of two sections: the first section is to present the emerging forms of Big Data application in Transmedia entertainment, audience behavior analysis as well as real time 3D augmented reality technology. It will also introduce the next generation infrastructure for live broadcast over Ethernet; the second session will have leading persons from the sectors of Free-to-air TV / Network TV / Broadcast Engineering to share their forecasts about the transforming TV industry in the rapid development of social media communication.
