Fashion Image Design Students clinched major awards in Cheongsam Design Competition

HKDI Fashion Image Design students won awards in the "Next in Cheongsam 2021 – Young Designer Challenge”, with cheongsam designs under the theme “Next in Cheongsam – Denim”.
PANG Wing Kiu, with the design work “Dragon Contour”, won the first prize in the competition. She incorporated Chinese dragon with the fluidity of Western ruffle skirt. The Chinese corset adds a touch of whim and sexiness, while denim brings about a young and casual vibe to the whole design concept.
