HKDI is proud of its students' achievements in The 25th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition. Chan Hoi Yi, a Higher Diploma in Jewellery Design and Technology programme graduate, won the Best of Show Award with her design "Born of Blue." Siu Wing Ki, a Higher Diploma in Jewellery Design and Technology programme student, became Student Group Champion with "Flame Dance Blessing." Cheung Hoi Lam, also from the Higher Diploma in Jewellery Design and Technology programme, secured Student Group 1st Runner-up with "Lion's Rhythm with Bamboo" and 2nd Runner-up with "Lion's Echo of Tradition"
