The Fashion Union - A Platform to Celebrate the Beauty of Workwear
"The Fashion Union - A Platform to Celebrate the Beauty of Workwear" (The Fashion Union) is organised by the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) as a programme of the Hong Kong Fashion Fest which is presented by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The Fashion Union aims to promote the diversity and inclusivity of workwear and its transformative aesthetics into contemporary fashion. Workwear design is broadly classified by job nature, function and utility, while the styles differ according to region and industry. Throughout the years, workwear has always been an important and exciting source of inspiration for fashion designers. Themed "A Platform to Celebrate the Beauty of Workwear," The Fashion Union will feature a dynamic series of activities, including exhibitions, fashion shows, workshops, outdoor bazaars and forums.
