HKDI established the Image Lab 360° at PMQ

Supported by the Linda Yip Charitable Foundation, HKDI established an experimental space for image design - Image Lab 360° at PMQ. Renowned hair stylists, make-up artists and photographers will lead HKDI students of Fashion and Image Design to offer professional hair-styling, make-up and photography services to the clients. The Image Lab will also cooperate with the industry in the future, so that students will have the opportunity to join different internship programmes.
On 28 April 2015, HKDI Principal Mr. Leslie Lu and the Founder of Linda Yip Charitable Foundation, Ms. Linda Yip, signed an agreement at the Opening Ceremony. They also officiated the Opening Ceremony together with internationally famous hairstylist Mr. Kim Robinson, renowned stylist Ms. Tina Liu and famous local actress Stephanie Che. The Ceremony was followed by a glamorous image show with professional models presenting graduation projects by HKDI students.
After the Opening, Image Lab 360° starts to offer hair-styling, make-up, image design and fashion photography services to clients who made their reservation online or over the phone. The Image Lab also serves as a platform for emerging stylists and image designers to showcase their talents. In the coming two years, HKDI students of Fashion and Image Design will be led by a group of experienced hair-stylist, make-up artists and photographers to create custom-made styling services such as image design, make-up, hair-styling and stage costume design for their clients.
In addition, Image Lab 360° offers courses in styling for individuals and corporate clients. It also offers services for fashion show productions, launching of fashion labels and the production of fashion catalogues. The Image Lab 360° will host styling workshops, demonstrations, seminar and lectures for the general public, in order to promote image design as a profession.
