HKDI collaborates with HomeSquare to design the HomeSquare x HKDI exhibition for the “6th Smart Buy Week”. Two HKDI alumni, Gary and Kong, constructed a 3-stories high gigantic Rubik's Cube. They also incorporated elements of the five senses as the theme for interior design of each display room and created interesting living spaces with a variety of furniture. Some of the HKDI graduating students’ works are also exhibited at the venue. The Opening Ceremony was successfully held on 24 June 2015, at G/F of HomeSquare, Shatin and the exhibition will last until 16 August 2015. HomeSquare will continue to work with HKDI and provide exhibition venues for students to display their design and offer various opportunities for them to unleash their creative talents.
