A unique exhibition for design enthusiasts, REACH 2011 will be held at Hong Kong Design Institute from this September. To be held over three months, REACH will be a unique exhibition with interactive, visual and educational zones.
REACH 2011 will feature the latest products from Herman Miller, officially open a new travelling exhibition, Essential Eames, and host the finals of the inaugural Asia Pacific Aeron Hockey Championship which will see each member of one team walk away with an Eames Lounge & Ottoman.
The event, co-hosted by Herman Miller and the HKDI, will feature several zones for invited guests, students and the general public to explore.
REACH will commence on Thursday 15th September with an interactive learning forum for internal Herman Miller staff and invited guests. On Friday 16th September the doors to the Hong Kong Design Institute will be opened to invited guests, students and general public. Guests can wander through Retreat; a beautifully designed showcase for Herman Miller’s award winning and iconic range, catch the live action as teams battle it out to become the first Aeron Hockey Asia Pacific Champions, take in lectures by design leaders, including Eames Demetrios and Don Chadwick, or be fascinated by Charles and Ray Eames’ merging of creative disciplines in Essential Eames.
With a plethora of visual, interactive and educational features REACH will be sure to fascinate, inspire and delight design enthusiasts.
