Chinese Ink Painting Exhibition
The infinite tension of the brush stroke illustrates the diversity of experimental Chinese ink expression. These experiments, created by the students from the 'Higher Diploma in Visual Arts and Culture', are primarily focused on the formal qualities of abstract shape and tonal variation.
Each artwork is generated from the amazing composition of their playful interpretations, which record the variation of tone, energy, and rhythm together with a variety of familiar daily objects. In other words, one recognizes in these works the desired dominance of the ink medium over other visual elements.
