Master Lecture Series: City People On the Move
Speaker:Stella Tang, HK Visual Artist
The artworks of Dr. Stella Tang cover the areas of cultural issues, identity, urbanization and local phenomena, etc. Her distinctive works were collected by both local and oversea museums as well as brought her numerous awards at various art competitions. As an art curator and art administrator, she contributed to various kinds of art events for the community, such as the global project “Art Container”, site-specific exhibition “Veil Unveil” and recent exhibition “We are Street People”.
Stella is currently conducting a collaborative art project with HD students in Visual Arts and Culture. Participants of the project are investigating the “City People” by adopting both macro and micro-scales of observations and carrying out the art forms to the public.
