Constructing Ingenuity: Dialogues on Creativity

Speaker: Hugh Heatherwick

Hugh Heatherwick, trained as a flautist and pianist, was a member of the band of the Royal Marines, and a boxer. Later he worked in the fields of education, community development, and organisation and professional development. Hugh has a particular interest in creativity, has worked as a creative mentor to both young and older people - and has played an important part in the development of Heatherwick Studio*

* Heatherwick Studio is recognised for its work in architecture, urban infrastructure, sculpture, design and strategic thinking. Work includes significant projects such as the award-winning UK Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010, the Olympic Cauldron for the London 2012 Olympic Games, and the New Bus for London.

Co-presented by the British Council, the GREAT Britain campaign and PMQ, with Swire Properties and KEF as the lead partners.
