Master Lecture Series - Aesthetics & Semiotics in Arts

Speaker: Alex Heung Kin Fung

Mr. Alex Heung Kin Fung is an art educator, a professional artist as well as a designer. Taking advantage of these roles; his creations and contribution of all aspects are filled with vitalities. As an artist, he has been a frequent guest at various solo and group exhibitions which include “Fine Art Asia”, “Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair” and “Fotanian” etc. Being a former founder and an active participator of art gallery, he connects people through art and generates opportunities for creative experimentation. His works were exhibited in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Shanghai, Australia and become popular among the public. His artworks are collected by the Museum of Art Hong Kong. Besides, Mr. Heung also took part in Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition and won HKDA Awards. He joined the international Artist in Residence program (iAIR) at RMIT University as well in order to develop links with innovative cultural networks, and to enhance contribution to the production of contemporary art discourse.
