Searching..Becoming – Emerging Design Talents 2013, the annual design show of HKDI & IVE (Lee Wai Lee), is being held from 20 to 30 June 2013. This is the first time that the design shows are open to the general public to experience the creativity of our young design talents.
The Opening Ceremony on 20 June was officiated by Mr Jerry Liu, Head of CreateHK, major sponsor of the event. This was followed by the Fashion Show, in which over 20 students of Higher Diploma of Fashion Design showcased their best design works performed by professional models. The Overall Champion, Best of Show, Best Men's Wear and Best Knit Wear were selected by a professional judge panel.
Other exciting performances include Fanfare - Music in Motion 2013 New Song Concert, The Revolutionary Image of New Generation - Image Show, Micro Film Screening and My Hong Kong – Multimedia Entertainment Show. Selected student works of all HKDI & IVE (Lee Wai Lee) departments are being exhibited on the Design Boulevard, and a series of Demonstration Workshops, Entrepreneurial Seminars and Peers Review are open for public enrollment throughout the show period.
