Master Lecture - Evolution of Sound: A Journey Through Electronic Music with Shinichi Osawa (大澤伸一)

Shinichi Osawa, also known as Mondo Grosso, is a pioneering Japanese electronic artist who continues to push the boundaries of music through various projects. He rose to fame in the 1990s with Mondo Grosso, a fusion of club and pop music, and has collaborated with Japanese pop stars such as Ayumi Hamasaki, Mika Nakashima, Hikari Mitsushima and Sheena Ringo UA. His 2000 hit "LIFE" marked a pivotal moment and the MV of "Labyrinth" (2017) was shot in HK, which has 39M views on YouTube. Shinichi has continued to evolve in the 21st century, exploring a variety of electronic styles that are showcased in his DJ sets and mixes. Shinichi's new duo RHYME SO performed in HK at the ImagineLand 2024, and Shinichi with Hikari Mitsushima on 3 Nov at HKT x WESTK POPFEST.
