Qianhai Design Open 2025
Higher Diploma in Architectural Design students have been awarded the Excellence Award at the Qianhai Design Open 2025. The team, comprising LI Yu Sum, LIEM Tsz Kuen, FANG Tsz Kin, POON Ching Yi, CHAN Long Sing, WONG Wai Kit, and WONG Chun, presented a visionary pedestrian footbridge proposal that stood out among over 70 entries, competing against young professional architects and designers.
Hosted by the Qianhai Authority and co-organized by Hong Kong Legislative Council member Tony Tse's office, the competition aims to foster cross-border collaboration and empower young professionals in architecture, planning, surveying, and landscape design. This achievement highlights the innovative spirit and cultural vitality that HKDI students bring to the Greater Bay Area.
