Dress Code Exhibition and Belgian Fashion Stylist’s Workshops

Dress Code Exhibition curated by Belgian designer, Charles Kasin, celebrating the fashion culture of Belgium at d-mart was concluded successfully on 31st March 2014. Selected pieces comprised over 50 renowned and upcoming Belgian fashion designers including icons such as Ann Demeulemeester, Raf Simons and etc. It drew extensive media interest and attracted a lot of the general public, groups of students led by their secondary teachers and etc to take this valuable opportunity to enjoy the design pieces of international fashion designers. Linda Van Waesberge, famous fashion stylist in Belgium, also the creative consultant of this exhibition, led a series of Styling and Photography workshops for HKDI Fashion and Image Design students. Linda shared her successful career experience and know-how in fashion styling and photography, making use of unique avant-garde Belgian fashion pieces and the design works created by HKDI students. This broadened the students’ horizons and inspired their creativity.
