Join Laurent Ungerer (France) and Nikki Gonnissen (The Netherlands), moderated by Darren Chuckry (Managing Director, HK Initiative), for a Master Lecture on the power of visual communication at the intersection of art, culture, and design. Drawing on their international experience, they will share how designers collaborate across disciplines to create innovative work, from the new visual identity for Notre-Dame de Paris to projects for M+ Museum, the City of Amsterdam, and more. The seminar offers fresh insights into creative synergy and the evolving role of designers today.

About the speakers

Nikki Gonnissen co-founded the celebrated Amsterdam studio thonik. With over three decades of experience, Nikki has championed 'online, offline, and on site' visual communications for public institutions like Schiphol Airport, Dutch Design Week, and M+ Hong Kong. thonik's work can be seen at the Centre Pompidou's permanent collection.

Laurent Ungerer, the founder of the esteemed Paris-based agency c-album. Laurent’s career is a masterclass in 'spatial narrative' and visual identity. Laurent has shaped the visual language of some of France’s most treasured institutions, including the Centre Pompidou and, most recently, the stunning new visual identity for Notre-Dame de Paris.
