Leslie - Grace at 70 Exhibition
An exhibition that carries Hong Kong collective memory and pays tribute to Hong Kong's golden era of pop culture is coming soon to HKDI this September!
"Leslie・Grace at 70 Exhibition" centres on the artistic achievements of legendary icon Leslie CHEUNG, featuring precious historical imagery and immersive experiences. Multiple photographs of Leslie CHEUNG from the 1980s and 1990s will make their public debut for the first time, bringing audiences back to pivotal moments in Hong Kong's pop culture history.
This exhibition brings together over 400 students from Communication Design, Digital Media, and Fashion and Image Design disciplines. Through cross-disciplinary creative practice, they have reinterpreted timeless classics and paid tribute to Hong Kong's golden era of pop culture.
From cultural research to design creation, this project aims not only to revisit the classics but also to inspire the next generation of designers to preserve local culture through innovative thinking. The initiative transforms Hong Kong's unique cultural heritage into a creative force for the future.
