The HKDI Graphic Archive presents From Pages to Pixels: The Visual Language of Hong Kong Popular Magazines. Taking City Magazine, Amoeba, and Art and Piece as its points of departure, the exhibition explores how covers, photography, styling, layout, paper, and print have recorded—and shaped—popular culture, urban life, and visual taste in Hong Kong across different periods. Visitors are invited to rediscover the city’s journey from print reading to digital browsing, and to consider how editorial judgment has brought people, images, and cultural ideas worth seeing into the collective memory.

Exhibition period: 11 September to 3 November 2026
Opening hours: Monday to Friday; 10:00 am - 12:00 nn, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Venue: HKDI Graphic Archive, A810
