HKDI Atelier presents : MV FEST

Here comes a landmark exhibition celebrating the artistry, innovation, and cultural impact of the music video!

This pioneering exhibition traces the evolution of music videos worldwide, showcasing the vibrant development and transformation of this unique art form. From early cinematic experiments (The Beatles, Queen, etc.) to the groundbreaking works of legends such as David Bowie, Madonna, and Michael Jackson; to the eccentric artists of the 90s and 00s like Jamiroquai and The White Stripes; and to the bold visual expressions of contemporary artists such as Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK, "MV FEST" explores how this dynamic medium has shaped global culture for over half a century, while simultaneously being shaped by it.

▶︎ Featuring over 50 groundbreaking music videos, plus 20+ styling displays and immersive installations, it charts the creative evolution of music videos, honouring international pioneers and Hong Kong's creative community. Free public programmes include masterclasses, talks, and immersive tech experiences.

▶︎ Showcasing the world-famous Dutch photographer, film director, and music video director Anton Corbijn’s 160+ iconic images and selected music videos by Depeche Mode, U2, Nirvana, Coldplay, and more.
