First, let me say a thousand thanks to my teachers and classmates for their warm welcome! Their willingness to share with me and their open hearts made me feel at home.
My tutor’s drive to share his professional expertise and experience, as well as the diverse outdoor visits he had our class take part in, raised my curiosity and allowed me to gain a lot of knowledge in my area, in a spirit that is very different from my own country. The teaching team was of generous help on the path of picking up on technical abilities. I learned valuable skills and new views on my stage design practice which all became very precious to me.
The several cultural activities organised by HKDI for exchange students, also gave us the opportunity to discover the city in a fun way. Our coordinator was always very caring of our well-being.
During the semester, I come across many stories and friendly encounters, and I came back with a mind full of warmth and richness. Being able to dive into another culture is an unforgettable moment of life, one of a value that is hard to convey with words. Hong Kong is an amazing city to experience as an exchange student!
