Studying product design for a semester at HKDI has been an eye-opening experience. I learnt about various design softwares, conducted research on the human and environmental aspects of contemporary Hong Kong and applied all these knowledge and skills into my projects throughout the semester.
It wasn't easy to learn everything within a few months as a foreign student but I was amazed by how much I have achieved - particularly with the support given by my tutors, who made me feel very welcome at HKDI and inspired me to explore how cultural differences affect the way people think, create and interact with one another.
