Style Lines - Connecting ideas of HKDI young creative force

3 May 2013

In fashion, “style lines” portray the silhouettes of apparels, creating illusions of balance and proportion to enhance the aesthetics and visual effect.

In this Image Design exhibition, proudly presented by the Department of Fashion and Image Design of the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), Style Lines connects the trains of thought, the out-of-the-box thinking of students from the Fashion Image Design Programme. Each design is a cohesive piece of work that illustrates the imagination and creativity of the students from hair, make-up, styling to photography, blending concepts with imperatives of aesthetics and practicality, to explore the potential of even the most flamboyant pieces from runway to real way.

A showcase of the selected works of the Image Design Graduation Show 2012, Style Lines marks the convergence of the synergistic creative forces of HKDI young designers.

Date: 3 - 26 May 2013
