Grand Opening of HKDI Media Lab
HKDI Media Lab is designed to be a hub to nurture and enhance integrated development of innovative ideas and media technologies for applied research, professional training and industry applications.
The grand opening ceremony will be held on 3 November 2017 at HKDI. A lineup of renowned industry practitioners across media industry, including Mr. Satoru Higa, Visual Artist at backspacetokyo, Dr. Ye Fung, Vice Principal of Digital Media School of Beijing, Mr. Cheung Hon Him, Artistic Director from XCEED, and Singer & Song-writer Mr. Lam Yik Hong, will deliver a joint Opening Conference at VTC Auditorium, to be followed by a tour to HKDI Media Lab Open House Showcase, which features demonstration including the latest 4D Live VR Applied Research project that attempts to explore multi-audience Virtual Reality in a future cinema immersive environment.
