HKDI Students Shining at “Talking About Green in 1 Minute” Animation Contest

“Talking About Green In 1 Minute” Animation Contest was an important event for the Hong Kong tertiary students, especially those with strong passion on animation creation. It was excited that students from HKDI Animation, Comics and Visual Effects Programme swept most Top Prizes, including the Champion, the Best Art and Visual Effects Award, the Best Screenplay Award, the Best Creative Concept Award and etc. The champion’s animation “Turn On The Star” aims to encourage to save energy and reduce light pollution with the theme of a starry night and a city without lights. This event not only provided a platform for the youths to perform their animation creation skills, but also explored and developed more talented youths, hence continuing the development of the creative digital industries in Hong Kong. It was also a great opportunity for HKDI students to help promote green concepts in the community.
