“Talent Shop” - Collaboration between HKDI and JOYCE CARES

12 Aug 2014

A new collaboration project between HKDI and JOYCE CARES entitled the “Talent Shop”, is part of Joyce’s ongoing mission to promote sustainability and corporate social responsibility through partnerships with local institutions while providing retail support and opportunities to aspiring designers and visionaries. Members of HKDI shortlisted four existing ready-to-wear labels and reviewed by Joyce’s management team, these labels are designed by HKDI’s most promising and talented Fashion Design alumni including A Tentative Atelier, MODEMENT, The World Is Your Oyster, and Wan & Wong Fashion. Joyce has pledged HKD$10,000 worth of financial sponsorship to each brand in addition to an opportunity to retail their collections at Joyce Cares PMQ unit from August to October 2014. Joyce will further extend its support in all areas of retail, including operations, visual merchandising, marketing, and business planning.

The Talent Shop hopes to provide young designers a concrete business platform to showcase their work and creativity, while encouraging young creative individuals to fulfill their dreams in the fashion industry.
