Many fashion designers tend to focus on how their garments are worn, but the Swedish design culture has enlightened me to also consider how our designs can be stored with minimum amount of space. This concept inspired me to create my award-wining project, which features a series of foldable accessories.
A trip to the northern part of rural Sweden and their eco-friendly lifestyle also enabled me to understand as designers, we should take only what we need and come up with designs that would last as long as possible.
