Witnessing the success of some Norwegian traditional villages in preserving its local culture, attracting tourism and avoiding the negative impacts brought about by over-development have been an inspiring and encouraging experience for me.
I look forward to applying what I have learnt during the exchange to the revitalisation of traditional districts in Hong Kong. I would also like to devote part of my future career into education, as I am more convinced after the exchange that education itself has an indispensable role in shaping the cultural landscape of a community.
